Indian killed in Sudan as Army-Militia fight in the streets; Jaishankar cautions
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has extended condolences after Indian national Albert Augustine succumbed to his injuries amid deadly clashes in Sudan. A stray bullet had hit the Indian on April 15 as the Sudanese Army and Paramilitary forces launched gun fights in the middle of the streets of capital city of Khartoum. As many as 56 civilians have been killed in the 2-day violence.
